It's a beautiful summer day when suddenly, the wind starts blowing, the trees are thrashing around, and clouds sail overhead. The sky turns dark and in the distance a misty haze is floating up the canyon towards us...
The wind blew so hard that I had to stop videoing. Next a cloud burst and rain pounded downward. Once the lightning and thunder started, McKalynn and Anna ran into the house. It's a crazy sight, and scary too. Then, a few minutes later the storm was over and we could see blue sky in the west and later in the evening (about 9:30 pm) this sunset.

Summers are fun there! I miss the thunder storms, but luckily last month we had an awesome display of thunder and lightening... took me back.
