We spent the day on a beach and didn't see hardly anyone. We've got groceries and we'll hang the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign.--We're actually staying in Carlsbad, CA (near Oceanside).
Just parnoid... but if you got fluish stuff starting to bug, hopefully it's early enough to get an ample supply of antiviral meds at the doc if anything arises on your relaxing week. (At least there's no deaths in CA thus far, but St. Mels school was closed with 8 students infected, yet treated sucessfully)
Maybe it will make it more relaxing with less crowds around town. Have fun!

It was St. Mels that is now shut down for the whole week (so far 3 confirmed students with the Swine Flu).
I hope everyone is stocked up on enough food to keep the kiddies in until we can see how bad this is!

Yeah paranoid I guess... but I'd rather be safe than sorry. But that is good to see that there is different info going around (3 students, 8 students)... goes to show the media may be blowing it out of proportion. That or Obama will use this as a perfect opportunity to push socialized medicine or freak us out and impose Martial Law. Oh how fun this all is. LOL
Did you get the phone call from the school district? That was creepy.
