God Made Dirt, Dirt Don't Hurt!

245 Days? Boo Hoo

Did you notice our LOST counter at the bottom? 245 days. :'(

I shed a tear as I sit grieving of my loss of LOST on this lonely Wednesday evening.

Northern Utah ATV Riders Club

Yesterday Rick, Wayne and Renee went on their first ATV club ride. We went out west of Lehi in the desert with about 24+ ATV riders and rode for 91 miles--it took all day long. It was really fun, hard, bumpy, fun, beautiful, interesting, fun and we used every muscle in our bodies which are screaming in pain today. The pictures below are from when we were on open trails, but we also went up into the mountains where there were old mining towns and graveyards. The leader of this ride told history and stories at all the places we stopped. Fun day!

Then, today (Wednesday) we went to the San Diego Zoo. This hippo is so cute!!! He's underwater and was swimming all over his tank--it was so cool.

Ahhh, Potter. This is an albino Burmese Python.

And this is a baby chimp (so cute) I'm videoing thru a glass wall so there's a little glare.

We're trying to do some educational stuff like.....

we visited Mission San Luis Rey de Francia, in Oceanside.

Then we spent the afternoon flying kites on the beach and watching Cameron...

No need to risk life for the swine flu---please let me know you have stayed out of restaurants and crowds of any kind. A crowdless beach is the only good place... (maybe)
I wouldn't even let the hotel maid service in you room until you check out!!! ---Callllllll me!

Huh?

Yeah, you heard me, "BLURB!!!" So I found it on Ben Brasher's blog (well actually his wife posted it) in a post about publishing your blog into a book. Cuts out stupid boring overendulgent scrapbooking... UGH.

Anyway, I'm super excited!!! Thanks for posting about this Emmy (Ben's wife)!

So JeNae, no more scoffing about blogging! It's a fast easy way to journal our lives and have a cool yearbook each year. SO START ONE TODAY!!!

Last night the whole crew went to the Mayan for dinner and a show.
"Mayan" cliff diver suddenly showed up on our balcony.


Earlier in the day, we investigated the Hill AFB Museum.

50th POST!!!

Oooh oooh ooooh.... I want to be the one to post our 50th post!!! Woo weeee. Wow, it doesn't seem like we've posted 50, and in such a short time. We are so cool.

Thank you all for your well deserved (oops that slipped) birthday wishes. We had a small quiet dinner tonight in honor of aging. The cake was horrific as far as taste (except the chocolate fondant - oh so yummy), so much for trying new cake batter recipes. But I enjoyed myself amongst the small chatter and laughter while resting my feet. Slam dunk - another year!

I love you all... you all need to move back to C.A. (NORTHERN...Randy)

Spring Break

Spring break is here in Utah and so is the Wendell family.

Two of Cameron's buddies from Cali are here also--Cody and Brant. They are very cute. JeNae took them snowboarding today. A bunch of kids from the ward came to hang here tonight.
We all are thinking of Liv and wish her a happy birthday today!
